Love plants? Love jewellery? Well this is the class for you. In this 2.5 hour practical silver jewellery-making workshop you will learn the basics of silver jewellery, using sterling silver, copper and all the tools of the trade.

About the event
Love plants? Love jewellery? Well, this is the class for you. In this 2.5-hour practical silver jewellery-making workshop, you will learn the basics of silver jewellery, using sterling silver, copper and all the tools of the trade.
In the course of the class you will learn to:
- Thread a piercing saw
- How to saw pierce (which means cut) out shapes.
- Solder using a blow torch
- File and finish
- Add detail and texture (if you wish)
In the end, you will have your very own pendant on a chain to take home and show off your handy work to friends and family.
Templates will be provided and you can choose from a variety of plants. If you have a favourite plant, however, please message me in advance and I can try and get a template for that too.
The Venue:
New to Woolwich and run by GCDA, Woolwich Front Room is a cosy home from home, located on Powis Street.
There's a lovely cafe inside and plenty of info about other local events.
