Course Description
During this one-day course (10-4 pm) • You'll be shown your way around a sewing machine. • Learn how to thread it and use it to make a simple fabric holder for a travel card or a pair of spectacles. • You'll also be introduced to some decorative hand-sewing ideas so that you can patch your clothes creatively and effectively. This course will be taught by Mary Jane Baxter, a craft writer and expert in make-do-and-mend.
