Learn how to use a machine and make a simple pin cushion Sew a patchwork cushion cover using a simple envelope technique Describe pattern basics; learn how to ‘read’ a pattern – start work on pinning and cutting out a simple book bag  Demonstrate simple hand-finishing techniques Sew buttons, hems and other minor mends and alterations.
